Kyra grew up in the Hudson Valley, where she caught the theater bug during her first production of The Wizard of Oz at the Philipstown Depot Theater. At age 7, when her dad took her to see Charlotte’s Webb, she looked at Dakota Fanning onscreen, turned to her dad, and said “I could do that.” She’s been performing ever since!
She studied Drama at NYU Tisch, where she trained at Atlantic Acting School, and spent a semester studying Brecht and Stanislavski in Berlin.
She was recently featured in an AEA 29 hr musical reading of "Singing Lessons" by Edison Hong at Columbia University, as well as a staged reading of Klaudia Karp’s “Beets” at IRT Theater as part of the Women in Theater Festival. She also just made her debut at The Green Room 42 in “To Mom, With Love” !
