  • Mama Short Film (Intimacy Coordinator)

In this coming-of-age student drama film, directed by Saschael Carter, Mama ignores their problems, distracting themselves with other people’s problems. This time, that isn’t going to work. This is bigger than all of that. The plastic is bible. Two blue lines. Positive. A baby in their belly. How? Is not so important. The pressing issue is whether Mama plans to keep it or not. And it might be wild, but something in Mama is telling them that they can do it. It can’t be that hard. Can it? But everyone has an opinion. Keep the baby! Abort the baby! Mama is forced to make a decision that will alter the rest of their life, and they’re not even sure where to begin. This is a short story about how even our kindest traits can hold us back.
